Agent Code Of Conduct
This document outlines the professional standards expected of all Verified Agents on our platform. Violation may result in removal without refund.
Professional Integrity
Agents must provide accurate, truthful information in all listings and communications.
No misleading claims about properties, prices, or amenities.
Agents must disclose material defects in properties where legally required.
All marketing must comply with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) Code of Conduct.
Listing Standards
Every listing must include:
Clear, upfront price (no “PM for price” or “Contact for price”)
Minimum 3 current, high-quality photos of the actual property
Accurate bedroom/bathroom count and square meterage
Correct suburb/location
Agency name and legitimate contact details
Prohibited in listings:
Stock photos not representing the actual property
Incorrect or deliberately vague location information
“Bait pricing” (advertising unrealistic prices to generate leads)
Advertising & Promotion
Agents using Pinned Post or Banner advertising must ensure content is professional, accurate, and updated if the property sells/rents.
No disparaging remarks about other agencies, agents, or properties.
No unsolicited direct messaging to group members for lead generation (“poaching”).
Client & Member Interactions
Respond professionally to inquiries within 24-48 hours where possible.
Respect all members – no harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional language.
Handle disputes privately – do not air grievances in group comments.
Platform Respect
Do not circumvent verification – each agency must have its own verified account.
Do not attempt to manipulate the platform through fake accounts or coordinated engagement.
Report suspicious activity to admins rather than engaging publicly.
Ongoing Compliance
Agents must maintain valid FFC/registration and notify us of any changes.
Agents must promptly remove or update sold/rented properties.
Agents should regularly review group rules as they may be updated
Violation of this Code may result in:
Warning and post removal
Temporary posting suspension
Permanent removal from all groups without refund
Reporting to relevant industry bodies in severe cases
